Kirtan Camp Day long Extravaganza

Kirtan Camp

Maha Kirtan Camp is for those who want to unearth their hidden musical abilities and dive deeper into the practice of Kirtan and Bhakti Yoga. We’re calling it a “Camp” because it’s going to have that feel to it. You will laugh, meet new friends, try new things, and learn a lot about traditional yogic practices… in a down-to-earth,  playful, and communal way.

Whether you are a seasoned pro or brand new, the camp will be a blast! If you attend you will have an opportunity to:

Play traditional Indian instruments (harmonium, tablas, NAAL DRUm, kartals, etc.)

We will do simple practices and techniques that literally anyone can learn. (We were not gifted with natural music talent)

Expand your singing voice through intuitive and explorative practices.

Maharaj believed he was tone deaf and didn’t sing for 18 years. Through simple and powerful practices, he discovered his True Voice and started singing on stages. At Camp he will share some of those practices with you.

Learn new mantras

Every kirtan song can also be referred to as a “mantra” is a sacred group of words in Sanskrit that heal the body, mind, and heart. We will explore many different mantras and the archetypical energies they explore. You will learn how and when to use these in your daily life.

Learn Bhakti Yoga stories

Bhakti Yoga is the yoga of love and devotion. We will explore stories from the Ramayana, a Sanskrit epic from ancient India, and stories of yogic saints like Neem Karoli Baba, Shirdi Sai Baba, and Anandamayi Ma.
