Nurture your Nervous System in a 6 WEEK Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra IMMERSION!
This class is a combination of relaxing Restorative Yoga, AND calming Yoga Nidra. You will be guided into supported poses that will bring your body, mind, and spirit into deep relaxation and calm, while restoring the nervous system. As your body rests, you will be gently soothed into the deep meditative state of Yoga Nidra, known as Yogic sleep. The practice will include specialized relaxation exercises, breathing techniques, meditation, and guided imagery to help bring you into an extremely relaxed and replenishing state of inner peace and calm.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Anjali Rose, MEd. began her yoga practice as a student to learn more about anatomy and physiology and loved the practice so much she decided to train to be a yoga instructor. She is a 500 hr. trained yoga instructor most recently attaining her 300 hr. with Katie O'Connell at Dragonfly Yoga. Anjali is also a healer and trained in the practice of Reiki as a Reiki Master Teacher and an Intuitive Oracle Card Reader. She often combines the healing practice of Reiki with her Restorative Yoga classes. Anjali, a resident of the Mount Washington Valley for several years will be offering a variety of series to optimize health and wellbeing with mindful movement . She enjoys teaching Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Beginner Series to those new to yoga and wanting a practice to heal and soothe the body, mind and spirit with relaxation and restorative techniques. She is also trained in trauma informed and children's yoga, and teaches hundreds of young students at summer camps each summer. An active outdoor enthusiast and conscious educator, she is also active in the community supporting local events and businesses.
